Industrial robotics have been an interesting topic since their popularity grew in the late 70’s to early 80’s. In recent years there have been many new developments in this field and innovation does not stop. However, sometimes users are still overwhelmed by a perceived complexity, and robot selection is usually done by instinct and not by analyzing the potential benefits of the different robot types that are available in the market.
